Need help, Wildhammer-inspired stable.

Hi fellow petopians.

I'm currently leveling my next Hunter, a Wildhammer hunter named Hansel Wildthunder <Spirit of Storm>, part of my Trio-Hammer project. His transmog would have the element of lightning or thunder and I'm a bit stuck when it comes to pet since we still can't tame Gryphon and both eletric wolves (Skoll the SB, and the level 90 wolves from the Vale) are very high level toon. I'm just thinking of which pet should he use most before he could get to tame either of the wolves and other pets that would be deemed as Wildhammer-worthy.

Would an eagle or a white outland chimeara be appropiate?
Thoughts?

Here are some low-level pets that are native to the Highlands or Loch Modan:

Fireflies are sometimes called lightning bugs!

Going with the lightning bug idea, Nix from Loch Modan uses the yellow lightning bug skin, one that always really made me think of storms.

GormanGhaste really covered all the others I can think of!

When I think of Wildhammer Dwarves I can't help but picture the Hinterlands zone in Eastern Kingdoms. So it would seem appropriate, that some of the beasts found in that area would make excellent companions for fellow Wildhammer hunters ...

Gryphons naturally, but since there are none that can be tamed at this time, an eagle would be just as nice.
Turtles
Wolves

Then of course, there are always the more traditional companions for any run-of-the-mill Dwarf ...

Bears
Boars
Rams, but much like gryphons, they cannot be tamed at this time. A goat should work just as well.
Foxes
Cats, I'm thinking Araga in particular. She's got that rare quality and resides in the neighboring region of Hillsbrad, just shy of the Hinterlands.

Then of course there's some personal choices to be considered ...

Porcupines
Devilsaurs
Direhorns
Rhinos
Spiders, specifically one of the tarantula models

Hopefully, any of these beasts will seek your Dwarf's favor as he makes the journey onto level 90. I've provided options can be obtained at your earliest convenience, while others will give you something to look forward to in later levels. :D

I especially like the idea of the black saber worg model native to the twilight highlands. It can be tamed at low level and later on can morph into Skoll or a vale wolf.

Thanks for the input! Yeah, I agree about the Black Worg! Thankfully one can be tamed at the Northsire Abbot, Elwyn Forest

Ty for the feedback guys!
