Isle of Thunder Raptors
Anyone else think that the Loa-Infused Bladetalons and the Tamed Bladetalons should be tameable? i mean we have 3 other raptor mounts tameable and it would give more options for hunters to fill the 30 additional stable slots we are recieving.

The loa-infused.. Maybe, but they're got a loa inside them/kinda of.. dont they? Not sure how Blizz would feel about that and the Bladetalons are already tamed so you cant really tame an already tamed creature.. If it was a wild mob maybe. But I dont think Blizzard wants all beasts to be tameable and we do have quite a lot all ready.

They do make an effort to get untamable skins tamable, though. And lore we've found about the loa on the Isle state they can come in varying strengths, from veryminor personal ones to tribal ones.

the odd thing about IoT is that none of the raptors are tameable. not even the normal unarmored modeled ones are marked tameable its like blizzard didnt even make a pass on the raptors fro tameables.

I do wish the compies had a tameable full-size version, and there's also an Venomhide Ravasaur colored version of the compy skin that I'd kill to have on a tamable beast (Fetish-Binders can Hex you into one).

Yes! It's cute, higher-res than all the other raptor skins, and is technically a different subspecies! Those are three good reasons right there.Ziarre wrote:I do wish the compies had a tameable full-size version, and there's also an Venomhide Ravasaur colored version of the compy skin that I'd kill to have on a tamable beast (Fetish-Binders can Hex you into one).
Also, even at their current size, compies are not that gamebreakingly small.
(I log onto the PTR not only to test out new content, but also to adventure with my Compy.)
If the size is a complaint because of PvP, what about a seagull or raven with Glyph of Lesser Proportion, huh?

Heck, I'd be happy with them at full-size. Especially that purple one!

Do want! I would totally 'upgrade' my trusty old raptor to that skin if they allowed us to.Equeon wrote:

Wouldn't it be a downgrade? It does get smaller after all.
Re: Isle of Thunder Raptors
The compies were originally tameable on the PTR but were fixed, as they weren't intended to be tameable. I know people like them, but to me they do really look like they weren't intended to be blown up to full size. They look like giant stuffed toys.Zangor wrote:the odd thing about IoT is that none of the raptors are tameable. not even the normal unarmored modeled ones are marked tameable its like blizzard didnt even make a pass on the raptors fro tameables.
But the compies, and the wasp swarms in ToT got me thinking that there's a whole new niche for hunter pets that are tiny, but you tame a pack and not an individual. Would be pretty awesome to send your pack of compies or swarm of wasps or beetles or whatever in to attack!
