Pepper the Devilsaur

Joined the devilsaur club. I went and tamed an Ironhide Devilsaur (pretty blue eyes!) in Ungoro, just to see. I really got a kick out of watching Shaon's in action and decided this might be an awesome pet. Originally, I wanted the brown, but the blue and black goes with the others well and she's just gorgeous. I named her Pepper. She does not strike me as the most intelligent of creatures, but quite cheerful. I think she has the personality of a rather dim retriever puppy.

Yay! Welcome to the club! I had it in my sights to go for KK initially, but didn't want to put forth the effort unless I knew I'd like devilsaurs. So, I found myself in Un'Goro taming a tyrant devilsaur (they're my second favorite), and while Deathclutch was an awesome companion, that big green beastie called to me. So I wonder if it's only a matter of time til you do the same.....
Grats on your devilsaur! They're such neat pets, so I hope you enjoy her!

Welcome to the club! The Devilsaur Fanciers Association asks that you take care of your new friend. An angry devilsaur is no one's idea of a good day. And also, good dental hygiene will keep your friend's chompers pearly white and extra sharp.
Sorry, it's late and I am exhausted and typing something it prolly the last thing I should do, as who knows what silliness could ensue...
And I do so love the name. My own Morok's name comes from the chili pepper family, somewhere in some pepper's latin or native name if I recall. So both our 'saur's have names in the same vein. Which makes me think that names like Cayenne, Jalapeno and Habanero would make good names for devilsaurs.
Enjoy your new companion, they are awesome pets no matter the color.

Now you just need a friend to tame the white one and name it Salt. I had the white lion and my friend had the black lion... We named them Night and Day.

Lol, I've noticed these have quite the personality! My Mosh refused to climb the gangplank for the gunship battle in ICC, and then he hid behind me for Saurfang. No matter where I moved, he ran behind me. Big coward. I love him.

Aaaw. Now I want a devilsaur. I had a black one when they came out, but it waddled and it drove me nuts. Then I went to see if they fixed it, they had, and I went for one again...Abandoned him for a bird or somethin'. Now Fire's stable slots are full. I can prolly get on Ter and little-Azu....

welcome to the club

Ive always liked devilsaurs (especially since they enjoyed ganking me in ungoro) so I tamed King Mosh a few times, and I even tamed King Dred (now that was fun! lol) but now I am on the lookout for by far my fave King Krush. And right now Ive got three of my bros chars parked at each of his spawn points lol. Pepper sounds like a great name

Haha, grats on the tame!
I have a white devilsaur and I totally agree with you, mine has the dimwitted puppy personality as well XD. Felyndril, Fely for short, is definitely the baby of my tamed team, even if I tamed her like...second. I can so see her constantly exploring all the new things in the world and being totally bewildered by them, thinking fighting is playing, throwing tantrums when she doesn't get her way (or when somebody whacks her mistress in a dungeon), and being all proud of herself when she follows a command correctly. My much smaller red hyena Jia has his paws full dogging the big dino like a sheepdog to make sure Fely doesn't accidentally hurt herself. Or somebody else. (The latter being more likely).
Devilsaurs just have such...personality!

Yes, I SO agree. Mine very often roars right after we finish killing something, which strikes me as her version of running around yipping excitedly. She's definitely the baby of the group. It's quite endearing. She also comes up and stands right over me sometimes even when there's no terrain "need" for it. It's like one of those huge dogs that thinks it's a puppy and needs it's mommy.

Lol, like the golden retriever that thinks it's a lap dog. Yup, mine's the same way.
OH DEVILSAURS. So adorably deadly!

Grats on joining the club! Got to say I have very much loved both of my little devils.
Orotun pretty much named himself, boy could never stand still or be quiet, and Vice is just a showoff, he just jaunts around with me and hangs all over the place as if he's bragging "Look who I tamed." He had this thing about either standing in between my boyfriend and I when we're doing something or making sure that he's standing closer to me like he's trying to make him jealous.

I love the look mine gets in his eye when he's stomping something. He's so proud of himself.

Oh dear...well, after reading all this...
I decided to check up on King Krush/King Mosh, as usual, so I did a lap of Sholazar, with no luck, so I took the Waygate and started wandering his patrol. And who did I see in his place...

Some of you may or may not have known that I had a Black Devilsaur before I found Gondria for the 2nd time, and gave him up for her. He was there for me until his green big brother would grace me with his presence, but I had so much fun running heroics with him...And the look he has when he runs back to you after chewing someone's face off, is heartwarming! And even though I felt a click with Gondria about a week ago, I went against what I felt, said goodbye to my ethereal friend for the 2nd time, and beckoned my big chompy friend back into my arms. <3
I named him Nom. Yes, it's a silly name, but I was going to name him Cretoxys after the Devilsaur I had previously owned but...everytime I did name him this (I've tamed quite a few Devilsaurs), I always seemed to let him go. Not this time!
And besides, and when I send him into battle I sometimes shout 'Nomnomnom'. x3
So yes, I have my lovely Nomasaurus back with me, and I won't be happier till I find teh King of Nomasauruses! xD And I have you to thank, Teigan, for this somewhat spontaneous tame. =)

This video is really old, but still holds a dear place in my heart. First time I ever saw people kite something, and it was a good choice too!
