I'm a bit of a neurotic, and I rearrange my pet's skills on the pet bar to suit my keybindings, but lately I've found that they're resetting position after I respec my pet (from ferocity to tenacity, for instance, and back again). Anyone else having this problem?

They do that for me as well. It's because your pet is technically unlearning one spec's abilities and learning the other's. There's no "memory" between the two.

But sometimes they **do** stay where I put them... it's just certain pets, or certain times, that this happens. I'll have to pay more attention to it to see if I can determine the pattern...

If the abilities are shared between specs or are baseline to the pet, then they'll stay put. Like the growl ability never moves.
