Do the raid mounts drop in LFR or only normal raids? and do the mini pets drop too? Just wondering really.

I can't really do normal raids and every time my guild trys to form a group it goes no where

The 5.2 pets do drop in LFR. In 5.3, one pet will drop in LFR and one in normal/heroic. They are all cageable/tradeable.

I read somewhere that your failbag "can" contain a mount. Wether its from that raid or just any rare mount I'm not sure and I've never seen it happen myself....but one can hope!

All I've seen/heard myself are the raptor eggs so far.

I've seen in the um item log? The channel where it says "player name has looted etc" (sorry minds blanked on what it's called ) people looting odd things like cat cages and stuff in raids. I can't confirm if it's from the bag or a trade but I think it's from the bag :S

And yeah cow the pets come from the bags I got a Gundrak Hatchling once but thats as best as i've got. The "mount" part has ppl wondering if this is restricted to the Primal Eggs (which contain a mount and I have gotten in one once) or other rare mounts like the ones that can drop in normal mode. Someone once posted on MMO champ that a person in raid got the Ragnaros mount but I dunno if they were trolling maybe...

Oh cool. Makes me want to get those bags now more often!

I think its indeed the eggs that drop and some of the mounts that also come from the CTA bags I believe.

But I really wished the other mounts from the raid itself also dropped from the bags or at least from coin rolls in LFR. Seeing my guild doesn't do any MSV anymore elegon is going to be a pain to get to >_>.
it would at least be more incentive to still join lfr for the older tiers :3

and I would love it if the galleon/sha mount where added as well small chance of cource (no one actually does them anymore on our server) or if they do do them its always on reset day during the day which blows for people with a job XD

Going to bump this and ask if anyone has gotten a mount BESIDES the primal eggs in their bag? I'm going to make a post on the general forums about it later but I'm really curious to see if other mounts actually drop in the lfr failbags as said by a blue ages ago.

Other posts I've read said they do but are so rare they don't show up on wowhead etc. I'd really like to hope they do! Anyone heard any stories or gotten any themselves yet?
