Hi guys i saw some screenys on mmo-champ and im thinking since we alredy have corehounds do you think the cubs on one of the screens migth be tamable too

probably not but i did do my list of wanted pets alredy and ill trade the killer squirell any day for a cute litle puppy

been trying to tame the beast and have to admit i Suck at that type of thing

oh ye and i really hope some of the suggestions i read will be used in cataclysm it would be so nice

I'm guessing they won't be (remember the bear cub for Wrath), but maybe they'll be tamable in the beta at least so people can play around with them.

Given that you get a Core Hound Pup vanity pet for purchasing and associating an Authenticator with your battle.net account...I don't think they will ever be tamable pets. Blizzard wants to keep that distinction, I think, because some guilds are now gating levels of guild bank access depending on whether or not you have a core hound pet.

If that model were tamable, it might be easy for a less-than-scrupulous or lazy guild member to say, "Yeah, here's my baby core hound...no, the tamable one counts too" and fob off an unsecured account on a slightly uninformed guild master to get greater gbank access.

Might sound like a strange reason for saying "I doubt it," but there you go.

You know to be honest if you believe a tamed ingame beast gives a member more security than an authenticator, then I'm sorry but it's your own damn fault.

Mean if they bought that, I have some nice beach front property in Nevada, going cheap...

Heh, I'm hoping they're tamable during the beta, like the bear cubs where. So we can see some humorous screenshots at least.

I think it's true, though. They wouldn't make it tamable, it wouldn't be too fair to those who bought an authenticator...Though, I'll only say that cause I just got one. I love my Kerberos!

Sooo...I'm biased, but still say nay. Beta could be fun though!
