So I got bored farming for the turtle mount and decided to go and do that achievement where you fish in Org and SW. After I did that, I decided to try for the crawdad pet. Well my 2nd cast gets me Mr Pinchy. So I click on him and get the pet. Well a few hours later, I'm back on and I nothce Mr Pinchy in my bag with "2 charges" and "1 day, 18 hour cooldown" on it. What's going on? Does this do something other than give you a pet?

You can "wish" for stuff. It can give you a pet, some manapots, a combatpet, or spawn a hostile mob. A least if I remember correctly.

What exactly have you been fishing up, Ryno? O_o

But Saturo is right, the item you actually fish up gets you wishes. All of which can be either the pet or the other stuff mentioned.

Yeah so even if you do fish him up you may not get the mini pet

I didn't know that. Guess I should consider myself lucky that the pet was the first thing that materialized. Still have 23 hours till I can wish again.

My second gift was 1300 health for an hour, so what did I do? I went and spent an hour in Scholazar looking for Krush. lol No luck Honestly, it as the best thing I could think of doing with the buff. Will let you know what #3 brings.

Mind you, that healthbuff was MAJOR back in TBC...

There are times now when an extra 1300 health would be HUGE!

Well, used wish #3... ended up getting the same 1300 health again, so I went to look for Krush again. No luck.

I had to catch him three times before I finally got the mini-pet (and the achievement).
