Orc weapons and scaling on the back...

Just started playing my Orc a bit again, and...
Are all ranged weapons hideously small on an Orc's back?

Had a xbow, and yeah, that was really bad. I have the Arch gun now, and that's pretty tiny too.

It's not just orcs... for most races, crossbows are scaled-down to fit on the back.
