So they showed us the garrosh model, personally I hate it. its not garrosh, garrosh is a blood-thursty douche, this is just the sha of pride, he was corrupted before the sha and its just so eh. I dont like it, they ruined him. its gonna be an awesome raid dont get me wrong but the whole sha thing seems out of place and un-needed.

However he does look pretty good "Shaificated"

One of my guildies said he looked like he was being eaten by a Laffy Taffy.

From what I read on WoWhead, it looks like Garrosh will start out the encounter "normal" at some point in the raid be infused with the power of Y'shaarj - I think this is the model we are seeing here.

Quoted from WoWhead (I skipped the first Stage):

"Intermission: Realm of Y'shaarj
Periodically the call of Y'shaarj will transport Garrosh and the players into the Realm of Y'shaarj for 1 min. Garrosh will Absorb Energy from the Heart of Y'shaarj until players have defeated all Minions of Y'shaarj inside the realm and interrupt Garrosh.

Stage Two: Corruption of Y'shaarj
After absorbing the Power of Y'shaarj, Garrosh will heal to full health as Y'shaarj bestows Garrosh with new abilities.

Stage Three: MY WORLD
At 30% health Garrosh will absorb the remaining power of Y'shaarj, gaining full energy, empowering all of his abilities."

I don't think he was TRULY corrupted....I think he willingly does this to himself.

Considering the whole Bell incident....

Well, he just got himself the same treatment he was perfecting on his grunts. The only difference is that he didn't use a mere sha, but the essence of the very source of the sha, the old god. So now the legion is coming, but if they hurry they may catch us in the middle of old-god thud.

Wrathion is going to go nuts will be fun to watch.

I agree. I think he's acting on his own, as much as one can act on their own when they are that power hungry.
