NOT Sky Claw...?

So the engineering mount, Sky Claw, has just been renamed on the new PTR

Mount a Sky Claw copter, allowing you to fly very fast. The claws are surprisingly delicate and can carry an ally. This is a flying mount

This follows the letdown of having it pulled in 5.3, but then we hear from GC as to why….

@KamBielecki It was an Engineering mount that ended up having a lot of bugs. We're considering a different Engineering mount.

So it seems safe to say that this mount is NOT Sky Claw, but if it's not sky claw, what could it be?

Or what would you like it to be?

Could it be another older flying mechanical engineer'esque model?





Or maybe a ground mount instead...?



Or who knows.... maybe something new altogether?

I'd so like a mechanical dragon Mainly cause I can't get enough of drake mounts but I think it would fit with the mechanical dragonlings!! Could have steam coming out of it etc. It could also carry two people like a rocket!

Or a bird like in the mysterious cities of gold...if anyone remembers that!

I was thinking about underwater mounts but could only think of those gnomish subs (which are pretty neat too)

I would just feel really badass riding a robotic rocket-propelled shark underwater. I don't think I'd be afraid of other sharks that way. Ditto for flying it, since I've had a bit of an affinity for flying sharks since, well...

Going along with SB's jetpack idea, and combining with current pop culture, how about a Ghost Iron Man suit? Make the person look like a mecha as they fly.

Barring that, I want to robotic dragonfly mount.

I'd like to see a mechanical mount that changed for both flying, ground, and aquatic. More of a change than the current copter and how it folds its blades in when you land, but maybe a more dynamic change. Jets to wheels to propeller for water, idk. Maybe even skis for on the water.

What concerns me is that if they are still dinking around with it, it's very likely to get yanked again. I fear it will be no mount at all.


That being said, the in-game Skyclaw is butt-ugly, so a change is good.

I do really like that IronMan suit.
