mmmm, I don't understand this particular "talent/ability".

why is it even listed?

ALL my pets have it, regardless of which spec they are.

I can't even HAVE a pet without it automatically having "Combat Ability". What's the point of it?

Or are there pets that DON'T get this particular talent/ability? I just went through everything in my stable, and every pet ad it, regardless of spec.

To me, it's like having a racial "ability to be present: your character exists within the framework of World of Warcraft".

They don't get the buff when in a Stampede.
It was easier to add and remove a buff for Stampede than scaling the pet's damage.
