Here we go again

I don't know if I'm a glutton for punishment or what. On my alt hunter I had been running some quests with Takk and it was late and I was missing my black lion. I decide "I'll just see if he's there. It's late and I'm sure he's not." I run over there and holy cats there he is!!! It is written in the stars we are destined to fraternize!! Again. Hugs and kisses goodbye to Takk and once again I tame Humar. It's very clear that no matter what I cannot seem to let this cat go. On the few times I've released him he's been back by my side in a very short amount of time. It's great to have him back. I hope he enjoyed his mini vacation. Humar tamed at 02:36 server time.

Now on my main hunter things have gotten weird. I released Humar to tame another cat. From the first time seeing it I was in love. Literally the same feelings as seeing Gondria and Loque. I made the tough decision to release Humar and put him on vacation. Now this toon has not released him since first taming him back in the day so this was tough. Hugs and kisses to him to and told him to have a great vacation and he'll hear from me soon. He actually roared as I released him. Wish I could have got a shot of that. It actually made me sad. But I went ahead and tamed a cursed offspring to Har'koa. I LOVE this cat! The way she crouches, doesn't emote like the other cats and of course those glowing red eyes of hers. She is really impressive and oddly enough I've never seen someone on my server with her as a pet. Not one time. So without further delay this is Ruby.

Edit: Odd that on my alt hunter I used a frost trap to tame Humar but on my main I didn't use a trap to tame Ruby.

Edit #2: Oddly enough there was not a prairie dog in sight till AFTER taming Humar. Hhhhhmmmm .............. interesting.

What a heartwarming story. =) If a pet is meant to be, it's meant to be.

I had Frëki, my Prairie Wolf, since lvl 70, we leveled 80 together, and I let him go back to the rolling plains of Mulgore so I could tame Old Cliff Jumper. Things were fine until I saw a Tauren Hunter in Dalaran with Frëki...WHO DIDN'T BARK. Safe to say, it was a beautiful experience taming Frëki again, in the same place I tamed him the first time...

And I absolutely LOVE the Cursed Offspring, if I had space I definately would. =) Since seeing the Sohoolu(sp?) model from the Oracle dailies, having a similiar pet seemed almost unbelievable. And the eyes!! And the hunch. <3

Biggest congratulations! ^^

Trust me, P. Dawg was there. He always watches over His children.

Bidden or unbidden, P Dawg is Present.

This was actually the case on the Humar tame (my own) that started the whole P Dawg thing. He appeared almost directly AFTER we tamed him, but had been killed just beforehand by li'l K.T., so he wasn't present for the actual tame itself.

Leading us to speculate that the spirit of P.Dawg may, in fact, exist WITHIN Humar....

I love the Cursed Offspring as well. Had him for the longest time. I never gave him a name; Cat fitted him. It was odd, and I know it makes hunters cringe...but he was Cat. That was it. I had named it and he lost his click. So I released Cat. I regret it now, Cat was awesomeness.

And...uhm...Hail P.Dawg! He's watching over you, yeah!

Strategy Number Two. I call it Feign Death.
