Gib tame almost got Snubbed

Wow, I went for the tame and some Jerk Hunter tried to screw me, I flew in and bam he was there finally, hit tame, and as i'm taming I see another person shoot in from my right side, moused over him and it was a Tauren Hunter, then I hear "Click-click bang" and as I did, my tame channel finished.
The shot actually hit Gib but since it was simultaneous with the tame it didn't kill him, the hunter was a 90, so Gib would have been 1 shot if he would have shot .5 sec sooner.
I Yelled "OMG HATER", he replies "Haters gonna hate"!!!!
WTF, what happened to hunters helping out hunters!!

if he wasnt tagged he is allowed to do that, if you tag him and he still kills it, report.

Actually Ashdawn, he isn't allowed to do that. That's what griefers do right there. You can't 'tag' low mobs like that that will die in one shot. If a hunter is in the middle of a tame, it's theirs. It's not right for someone to swoop in and try to steal it.

You should have ignored him and just flew off by responding that way he got the response out of you that he wanted to stroke his fragile ego -_-

Why isn't that blizzard doesn't make a mob immune to other actions while under the trance of being Tamed.
I can't imagine blizz thinking its an ok design to have to fight over a tame after you've already started it, the battle should be whoever gets to it first, now if you die in the process of the tame, then the mob is free to whoever.

What does pvp realms have to do with making the mob immune to other attacks if under the influence of [tame beast]? The hunter is still targetable/interruptable.

Most want the pet AND hunter immune. And once the tame breaks, the pet isn't immune anymore too so.....

Making the pet AND hunter immune is a bit to much, I agree. But making the pet immune - I'm all for it. On pvp realms it would at least eliminate same-faction griefers, and make things a bit harder for opposite-faction ones.

agree.i am more for just the pet to be immune then the hunter.
