Submitting a ticket

Is it just me, or is it almost impossible to submit a ticket nowdays?
It seems like there is nowhere you can just write something to Blizzard, if you have an issue. You need to select one of the pre-defined topics. Otherwise you can't get through.
Am I doing something wrong? I have an issue with a new account I made, and none of it is under the pre-defined topics. And the 'submit a ticket' part is greyed out, so that's not an option either..

You can use the topic "My subject isn't listed"

I don't see that anywhere. I see 'none of the above' if I type in something instead of the pre-defined. And if I chose 'none of the above' it takes me to the same pre-defined topics.
Unless I'm not looking at the right place? I have done this ingame, and chosen the 'open a ticket' option.

You said you had an issue with account, right? I'd say that'd be Account Management -> My issue isn't listed here.

I'm lookin right at it as we speak. :O

For the record, I HATE the new reporting system

I can't find that anywhere.. :?

And yes, the new system is not very good.
I have two friends that both were hacked, and with the new system, they are both unable to get their accounts restored, because it's too complex.

It's right at the bottom after I select "I'm having an account management issue".

Unless they screwed up the EU options(wouldn't surprise me, tbh).

I found it, thanks!

But now I have to answer my secret question, and submit identification. Ain't that a bit over the top, just because you have to ask them something?
I think it's great that they make it harder hacking/stealing an account, but with that they're also making it very hard for the account owner to do anything.

Hehe I guess so.
But I figured out my issue by myself anyway. I just hope the next time I need to make a ticket, that it's under the pre-defined topics..

Yeah. Believe me, I loathe their new system. Especially when it comes to reporting players.

Yeah me too. And I feel the name report option is pointless. There has to be more than one report of a name, or nothing will happen. I tried that, when reporting someone with a very offensive and discriminating name. A year later, and the character is still there with the same name..

Yup. :/ I've reported several offensive people, like the one troll who keeps asking all female draenei to be his girlfriend.

Yeah it sucks. Before the ticket system got this complicated, I used to just write a ticket when I wanted to report a name. But after the new report option was introduced, I tried making a ticket at the player I mentioned before, and was told that it wasn't possible to report someone through a ticket, and that it had to be done with the new system..
And as I said before, that character still exists even after so long..

Yup. Or if you make a ticket about someone that wasn't one of the three options 'given', they still give you the 'use the report feature!' crap.

Seriously.

and I wish they'd fix their ToS regarding guild bank ninjas. I had some dude join the guild, take whatever he could, then sell it. Like he took over 1000 cata herbs, several rare pandaria gems, etc. Blizz just told me "Oh well! You let him do it!" Bullshit! I didn't let him do it. Plus there's records of him doing the exact same thing to other guilds too.

I believe Blizzard's position is that the guild has the power to invite people into the guild and the set the bank access on the guild rank the person has. If the guild invites a person into the guild and gives them the ability to take what they want from the guild bank then Blizzard isn't responsible for returning the items.

After all, if you're uncertain as to the intent of a new guild member you can just restrict the access of a guild rank, call it new member, and limit how many stacks they can remove from the bank and how much gold they can take. You have the tools to do this and it isn't Blizzard's fault if you don't use them properly.

But I do. and so does another guild I'm apart of. They just had a fuckton of stuff taken from them over days time taking what he could everyday what he was allowed to and he was very subtle about it. -_-; So know what happened cause Blizz is too lazy to actually help guild masters? The gbank is restricted to officers and GMs only. Is that what everyone has to do? Seems so...cause Blizz purposely allows asshats to destroy guilds and destroy trust amongst guildies.

That sucks. :(
If I invite new members to my guild, I always give them a low rank for the first month or so, to see if they can be trusted.
I have had items restored from the guild bank, but that was because someone with full access got hacked.

Yeah if someone gets hacked and steals Gbank stuff, they'll do something about it. Other than that, you're totally screwed. ><;
