My first time at making an alternate gun sound

So earlier tonight, I decided that I wanted my gun in WoW to sound like the Plasma Pistol shots from XCOM 2012. It took me some time to record one that I liked, but after I did, I cleaned up the file so it's the way I want it to sound. After doing some homework on how other "gun modification addons" work, I put it together and got it working in game.
Anyways, now that I got it working and everything, I wanted to come on here and ask for feedback from others about how it sounds and what kind of suggestions they might have. I'm particularly interested in knowing if it's too quiet, too loud, too monotone, and other stuff along those lines. I've uploaded a zip file of it here in this thread: Plasma Pistol Gun Sound.
