A page I subscribe to on FB suggested the uldar 10 and 25 man achievment drakes are being removed. I'm like 2 cheives off the 25man so to er on the side of caution anyone need those achievements still want to get a group going sometime (pref before the patch!)?

I'm not saying you're wrong but why would they remove the Ulduar drakes *now*? It seems a little random and uncalled for really.

Will the Achievement dissapear?! So ppl cant get them anymorE? Or forse removal for ppl who have them? And will Mims head also go then?!!? :O:O

I think they said, after the sharp outcry from the playerbase after the Naxx drakes got removed, that they would never do that again. They would change mounts that had 100% droprates (like Mimiron's Head and Invincible) to 1-2% droprates, but never remove completely.

Yup, I agree with Wykea. Unless they overhauled Ulduar completely - which they won't do unless they want to see angry mob with pitchforks and torches at their door - the achis and their rewards should stay the same.

This is an extremely old rumor and Blizz already put it to rest that the drakes will never be removed. People are still bitter about them removing the naxx drakes.

"After further discussion, we decided not to remove the rusted and ironbound proto-drake rewards for the normal and heroic Glory of the Ulduar Raider meta achievements when patch 3.2, Call of the Crusade, launches, and currently have no plans to remove them in the foreseeable future. However, we will continue to evaluate the situation and if a decision is made to remove these rewards at any point in the future, we'll provide a one month warning so players will have time to make some final attempts."

*patpats* So you needn't worry. Whoever frightened you with this rumor might wanna check their sources.

This rumor was also started before 4.4 came out as well I think. It's just people wanting to scare others. I remember my guildies begging me to help them get the achievements.

Yeah it started around 3.2 I think....or just before then.

It was apparently on the PTR as a FoS with the drakes removed. The person who posted it on facebook said they noticed the text change in game and yeah scared the bejesus out of everyone lol!!

I think someone on a european server noticed it too and took to the forums so i think the PTR has been reverted now.

But besides that I only have 2 metas left so if anyone else needs 25man I think Wain offered to help me, i'm sure with more we can knock em over quick

So this person claimed that it was added as a FoS, but after someone supposedly posted about it on the forums, it got reverted back to obtainable on the PTR? Sounds highly suspect of a hoax to me. Personally, I wouldn't worry about it.

ETA: I searched both US and EU forums regarding this but found nothing, so they were most likely lying.

Same. Also I'd expect something like this would explode all over the forums rather than be restricted to one person's word on FB.
