Blizz has done a lot of pet changes over the years, and as I was browsing Petopia last night, I got to wondering.. what pet would I most like fixed?

For me, it's easy, I'd like boars to be viable for dps again, or tanking. I still love the armoured boars, and would love to have one by my side again if I could use one.

What's yours?

Windserpents to be viable for DPS again. Oh, and a flying tenacity pet. But that's just wishes...

Anything for dps other than a wolf. LOL

I wants a warp stalker for dps

Id like flying pets that can fly and attack flying mobs. Major viability

I'd like for wolves to have something more interesting. Furious howl might be the cream of the crop right now, but it's BORING. Give me an exciting attack!

Fix scorpids, for the love of god. They absolutely killed the little guys when they nerfed scorpid poison. I'd like to see Nether Rays have another ability that does shadow damage ever ten seconds or so.....maybe a DoT....*Ponders* In general, I'd like to see an overall damage buff for a lot of pet's, since their abilities scale so badly in comparison to the hunter.

They took away my Gezzarak's summoning fire. =[ I want it back.

And, imo, gorillas should get a better skill than an interrupt that doesn't even do damage. I know I'm in the minority, but I loved them back when Thunderstomp was exclusive. Not that I'm not glad my warp stalker has it now, but gorillas got punished when they made Thunderstomp a talent.

And along with that, fix rhinos.. I remember the days of rhino-bowling on the bridge in AV. (I even have BRK gorilladin and rhino-bowling shirts! Those were the days...)

And I want more pet skin choices for certain families like Gorillas and Crocs, but that's just me.

I like the idea of making Nether Rays more useful, I love that model... Give my hyena her old skeleton back! They used to have their own back in the day and their heads were always up. They looked excited and ready to go all the time, but now? They have the normal wolf skeleton and their heads are always down, they look like a beaten dog and that's just not how their body posture should be. I want my happy Meza back.

anything but wolf i liked wolf waaaay back in vanilla and in tbc till i found tthose outland raptors.


What i would want to see is all pet families becoming usefull and see in Dalaran/Orgrimmar a diversity of pets not just Wolfs XD

You never see people with netherrays and sporebats, so I reckon they could beef them a bit

I agree with Saturo, I'd love to see wind serpents used as dps again. The decision to make them cunning really upset me.

I wouldn't say it's boring. I manually cast FH to align with my Paragon proc, so I'm doing a bit more micro-management which keeps it "interesting" I guess. But I agree, I just want all Ferocity pets to be more raid-viable than just the Wolf.

But I'd love to be able to raid with my Spider. He's my favourite.
