DONT LOOK AT THE IMAGE IF YOU DONT WANT SPOILERS!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
So seems like there's a few things up that Varian wants to touch upon....
1. Make a Garrison new Theramore(I guess this is rebuilding it sort of?)
2. Cleanse Gilneas so the Gilneans have a home to go back to! (Hooray!)
3. Keep Sylvanas in check(I think Vol'jin would be in support for that, honestly. Sylvanas was kinda overstepping herself into Alliance lands)
4. Be more proactive! (All my yes, of course!)
Now I just wonder what the Horde will be doing. Rebuilding of course I assume. I'd like a Gobbo city place thing too. XD
They really have been setting Sylvanas up as the next problem leader for a few expansions now, so it doesn't surprise me. I wonder, with the removal of Garrosh, whether the Kor'kron guards will also be removed from Undercity allowing her to misbehave more freely and paving the way for the story.
As for a Goblin city... they do have that lovely one in the harbour. If they could expand on that it would be great. And quite different to any of the others.
Yeah. But I still find her the best leader out of both factions!
Yeah I'd like it if they expanded it a bit more. I think it would fit their nature to keep expanding. They'd take over the whole continent if they could
Ugh omg yes <3
I just adore him as a character.
I will say even though I DO NOT like Sylvanas at all that I've seen people bashing her for what she wears.. This BAFFLES me.. Like.. who cares what she wears? I just have never really liked her as a character.. Ever. That is her character though and not her outfit. I find that logic ridiculous.
*Also follows* xD
Fun stuff though. Pretty predictable to me, but fun. I'm wondering how Vol'jin will deal with Sylvanas' wanting to keep Gilneas. I suspect he'll call her off and try to keep the peace.
/shrug, not sure. I hope he reigns her in to be honest. I know people like her I just.. don't and never have. I suspect if she starts anything though that Vol'jin will squash her. I'm not interested who's leading the orcs now.. <.<
I think he will do that too. I think she will do what he says I don't think she out right hates him like she did Garrosh.
Do you like thrall? Cause if you do Varian is a similuar character to him. Both Gladiators, both prisoners and both return to unite their peoples. Also I think you need to play alliance storylines to kinda get to know him better as cinematics do him little justice.
Sylvannas on the other hand is just plain evil...she doesn't even like half her own faction >.> and undead as a race I just can't get into, all their quests are so ick!
There's a Blood Elf quest, in Ghostlands, where you find a necklace and bring it to Sylvannas... I always found that quest, and her reaction to your giving her the necklace "from a past life", very moving and sad. I think I can easily empathise with her and her reactions to the "living", even if I also am not overly fond of the Undead-specific quests.
I remember that one, doesn't she toss it aside after?
Yup, she does. Also her story has made her more and more like the man she sought to kill(The Lich King).
I don't want to derail this thread into a Sylvanas-only discussion, but I'm just curious....
Was she always a fairly bad person? Or was that only after the Lich King captured her? The latter I can understand. She basically went through horrific torture and effectively rape of her soul. It's a wonder she had any sanity left at all, and it could be expected that she's severely damaged. That doesn't excuse her behaviour of course, but I am curious if she had an inclination to be not-a-nice-person while she was still alive or that was after.
Also, the locket quest made me feel that she can still be touched. The excessive anger she displayed after the initial hesitation made me feel she hated that she still felt something.
From what little we know of her past, she was a bit haughty and strict but that's all. She wasn't mean. It wasn't until Arthas destroyed her that corrupted her mind(much like Jaina and the destruction of Theramore). So she's just falling down a steep hill. She is not who she once was.
