Please welcome Vephriel as a forum assistant for the Flight Rising forum!
The idea of a forum assistant is to be a "local moderator". Someone whose domain is generally just one forum.
And in doing this, I'm not saying that Flight Rising needs more Mod attention. You're a great bunch of people! In fact it's just a sign of how much this forum is thriving.
I've lately been considering Petopia's larger sub-communities/forums, and how some might benefit from having someone present who has Mod abilities. Especially ones that I don't normally frequent.
Petopia is really a pretty good community. We have our occasional dramas, but things are really pretty decent compared to most places. So we've tried to keep the Moderating down to the lightest touch. And so I would prefer to add the occasional forum assistant rather than many more global moderators. It makes the place feel less "policed" but still with people you can go to. I hope you feel that way too
