New Hippogryph Mount Reward
Blizzard showed off an upcoming hippogryph mount reward that is coming soon!

Why are they using those horrible wings again? @_@ blegh.

I was like 'oh, that's a gorgeous--- HELL NO.' in response to seeing the pic and then looking down at your comment Bow, realizing then the one in flight was indeed using the new gryphon model wings.......

I think it's gorgeous and the perfect mount for an Elf. I really want one and hope it's a reward for something I'll actually do. The colors are fantastic and I like the wings. The ones on the current Hippogryphs have always seemed too small to me.

I think they are pretty. I like them.

I'm definitely all for larger wings, and this model is absolutely stunning but the wings are broken, they use the ones the new gryphon model uses since their original one isn't long enough and they probably didn't want to have to duplicate the skeleton so they could tinker with the wings and save it as a new hippogryph skeleton

Wow. I think it's beautiful! But I'm checking from my phone so I fail to see what might be wrong with the wings

...Huh. I can't tell what I think until I see it in motion, I think. The colors are really... uh... unique. O.o Orange and green, alrighty then...

Personally if they make the wings a little larger, I think it will look great. Not that I don't love the ones we already have, but I do feel sorry for them when carrying some of my thinker set characters

If you grew up with parrots in Australia, orange and green wouldn't seem so weird

And Wain, true that! I'm just not used to seeing that color combo in WoW, I guess. Or maybe I just didn't expect it on a hippogryph.

Nothing's wrong with the color of the wings, its the joints in the skeleton that are bugging me xD

(again, gorgeous model, but the skeleton they used, not so much. In fact I almost want to say they gave it the new gryphon model entirely, instead of splicing the new gryphon wings onto a hippogryphs body)

...We have white tan blue with orange pink and purple ones. D: They can come in any fabulous color they want. >.<

I really like the new gryphons so I think I'll love this new hippo!! The colours are lovely and i like how they used a different model like they did with the new gryphon/wyvern for the pvp area. Maybe this is a new pvp event award or storyline award like the previous two? Would fit the use of the different model for sure!

edit: Just saw a reference that this may be the 9th anniversary award for wow! that would be awesome!!!
