Hello, as some of you know I do some HARPG (horse art rpg) on Deviant art, particularly with a breed known as "Marandians". Well, Right now, from Oct 1-7th, for "World Animal Day" one of the VERY rare types of Marandian known as an "Equinox" has a special "holiday" breeding cycle. Meaning any Equinox Marandian "breed" between the 1-7th will produce Equinox offspring! (any other time of the year besides specified holidays will only result in a normal genetic offspring). It also so happens that I have an Equinox stallion, King of Hearts.

Now, I've sent in my request to breed him with another one of my horses so that i could get another Equinox, on top of that I also purchased the "twins potion" which will result in 2!!! Foals from the breeding, and this is where I need YOUR creativity! Because the holiday is "World Animal Day." I will be able to base the offspring's coats off of ANY!!!! Animal that exists!

But, I can't decide what to base the second one off of! So this is where I need your help!! Show me the most awesome animals you can find!!! Anything that exists counts! Fish/spiders/bugs/mammals/reptiles/amphibians/etc. Except!!! Please NO BIRDS or FROGS (an avian & frog coated Marandian mutation already exists)

Numbat!!! They're so adorable holy crap ;-; I love them, I'm sure it'd make a great, simple, but unique pattern

The mantis shrimp is really pretty, but I am not sure it would translate well to a horse coat. To much red on the legs, and green on the back with only some patterning on the head and tail, and some blue on the legs near the hooves.

The Numbat might be interesting, the markings would transfer well.

I'd like to see what else people come up with before settling

I think I'd like to find/see something more elaborate, wild, colorful, something that screams "This is not a typical horse coat"

Unfortunately I can't use bird designs since there's already an "avian" mutation that makes them look like bird colors.

Ohhh, a couple people have submitted coat designs for their Equinox foals. One did theirs based on a sea slug, one on a red panda, and another on a lionfish!
