With the Darkmoon Fair ending comes a lot of things, a time to relax a time to go back to normal and not have to make sure you are there when things happen a time to not have dreams of the bunny eating you at night... But really this Darkmoon Fair brings with it a sadness as a player I have not felt before a sadness cause I know my new favorite mount will be going away until next month yea I know it is just a month away and get over it. The mount I am talking about is the one that drops from Moonfang it is from the Shimmering Moonstone and until this Fair I was never really into it, but once I got this mount I was in love with it. I am a wolf lover and have always wanted a wolf mount for my Alliance guys, yea ok again I know make a Horde they have wolves, I have two Horde they both have those mounts but it is not the same. Seeing as how my guild only has 66 members including alts and that I am not much of a raider, can we say has never done Dragon Soul or Firelands, I doubt if I was to try and join another guild to get that war wolf mount they would even look at my 90 Death Knight most likely would laugh. When this wolf mount first landed in my bags and I saw it I knew we as players had to keep it and so I have been sending suggestion after suggestion to Blizzard asking them to please let us keep this seeing we as players need this mount. And so I am asking the Petopia community to also send suggestions to Blizzard asking for us to keep this mount I know it is late and the fair is basically over but I am not going to stop I will get my voice heard until they make this a real mount.

I'd definitely like for it to be permanent, especially after seeing it in Shadow form on my priest....

I think it was permanent during one of the earlier PTR builds. But yeah, it's totally lame that they turned it into an on-use item that you only have during the DMF. ._.

I feel sad about its current format because it takes some effort to obtain; and by that I *don't* mean it's rare and hard, I mean it still requires gathering a group. But I expect the novelty of it is going to wear off quickly, which means within a few DMF cycles I believe we'll see fewer and fewer people bothering to group for it and the mount will become one of those forgotten things. As it gets harder and harder to find enough people, even fewer people will bother to go to the effort, just for a mount that they rode last month and only lasts a week.

That's why I'm sad for it. It's beautiful work and I believe it's going to be wasted and forgotten. I'm happy to be proven wrong, but I feel this is likely to be the case.

That is why this needs to be permanent so it isn't forgotten I would give anything to have this mount because as I stated in my main topic I will never see the war wolf mount and Horde are the only ones with a wolf mount yet this one is nicer looking. I am going to keep sending suggestions to them to make it real and will not stop until they do something about it.

I too was sad to see my moonfang mount go I like how it howls so pretty! Or even add a permanent one to the ticket vendor? Make it like 500 tickets so its harder to get. Just my suggestion.

This morning before it went away I rode my wolf through Stormwind howling and ended on top of the auction house just howling away so sad when they took it away and yea I like that idea of making it for sale from vendors and 500 seems right.

You have no idea how upset I was when I learned it was temporary. I was SO excited at a chance to get one of the old puppy mounts on my ally.

I agree that it should be permanent but not that it's so hard to get. I only killed Moonfang 4 times and the mount dropped twice. The battle pet is much harder to get. You can bet that if it was a permanent mount, it's drop rate would be much lower. I also had no problems finding a group. Every time I went to the spawn point, there were more than enough people there waiting for her to show up. Some even waited through 2 or more cycles. Of course this is because it was new and it probably is true that as more and more people get all the rewards, the participation will drop. I know I will be doing it again next month though because I want Moon Moon.

Mmm not at all. The TB one is armoured (and see through!) and only horde can obtain it. Its more similuar to the lvl 40 version of wolves you get from orgrimmar but once again only obtainable if you play horde. My mains alliance so thats why most here prob want it permanent.

Another Darkmoon faire is upon us again and with it comes the mount that needs to be made permanent the moonstone wolf mount, I have already gotten it on my 90 DK right after renewing my account and have also made two yes two suggestions to keep it and so I ask you all please do your part and make as many suggestions as you can to Blizzard asking for this wolf made real. If they get enough asking for this to be made permanent they just may listen no promises knowing Blizzard but when this is the only wolf mount my Alliance will ever see I take it to heart.
