A quick note, everything needs to be inside the lines and can't be ontop of the shadows, the original art (lines and shadows) need to be present and they need to be saved as PNG files without any sort of background (since that'll show up on the dragon) :3 I like the second one, looks kinda like a snow leapord

I know ;D The items sticking out are just to be silly/watermark. Rofl.

:D Thank you! The second one is supposed to be based off a snow leopard! Hopefully when I try again I can make it a little more realistic xD

Oh, I like the new scales much better. If anything I'd make them slightly less dark so they fade into the body more.

Good idea. I think I can mess with the Opacity a bit. That should help.

OKay. Trying something completely different now.

African Crane Wildclaw.

Thoughts? Advice? @_@ Should I just give up on these things? Rofl.

It's certainly not bad. But I do have a suggestion. It looks as though you're using some kind of blur tool to shade? Especially in the brown and black areas (and I'd lighten up the tips of the black; I think it's too dark for the rules). Harder shading would be better, or just blending without a tool like that.

xD Pff. Yeah I'm using a blur for it. I was trying my best NOT to use it, but @_@ I wanted the colors to mix instead of just stacking on top of each other. So other than making the blacks lighter.. I should use darker browns and such to shade with? o3o Or... Uh. Am I not understanding correctly? XD

Well, you want to move around the colour wheel. For example, I use reds that are slightly darker and more saturated than the peach equivalent to shade caucasian skin (and the same goes for other skin colours, just at different places on the wheel). So take your starting brown, move it to the right a bit on the colour wheel, and make it darker and more saturated. as you get darker in your shading, move further to the right and make it more dark/saturated. Continue until satisfied!

Basically, don't use the blur tool to shade. Use colour theory, instead.(:

I'll give that a try! Sounds tough, but it also sounds like it would make things look amazing. Thank you for the tips! I'll try it after work tomorrow xD

Fiddled around with the scales a bit more. I like how it came out o3o

What do you guys think? Is this upload/sell worthy yet? XD Turned the Opacity down to around 50%.

Oh wait wait wait.
So I tried blurring now. It looks nice on black and white.. But colors I'm not too sure...

So should I keep the blur or use the other version? XD

Hmm, I think I actually like the last version (blurred) the best- so many scale pattern accents I see are super distracting, but that one is subtle enough that you can imagine the scales without it taking away from the dragon's patterns/colors. I like it!

That is a good point! Maybe blurred isn't as bad as I thought, then.
Thank you for your input!

Okay I'm so so sorry for all this spammage. Rofl.

BUT THESE ONES.
I really like these ones. I went through and added some shine to EACH scale individually. But when I tried the skin on a white Mirror, I couldn't see it. SOOO~ I inverted the shine! They still look really good IMO though o3o

I need opinions again! Even if you don't know what you're talking about! XD A simple "That sucks" or "I like it" is SUPER helpful too!

Also, thank you EVERYONE that has offered me advice so far! You guys rock ;.;
