Spore Bat MKII

Well, this one was originally just a quick sketch that was in the scrap pile until the other day.
The
Pet wish list for the next expansion thread was born and I posted a couple of these types of sketches, in the wish they might one day flesh out the Spore Bat family. Being a lazy artist it normally takes someone's interest to shake off my laziness and actually finish something <.< (Thanks Veph /hug)
That all said and done, introducing….
Spore Bat Model Number 2.
I originally thought I would use a completely different colour way, but then thought it might be nice considering I was changing the model, I would stick to a familiar feel in the colour department.

When I saw the title I read it as "Sporebat Mortal Kombat 2" and was a bit puzzled

Oh man, what an awesome creature concept! I love how it's clearly recognizable as a sporebat, but a really cool mutation of one. Cthulhu bat indeed, I'm actually upset that this isn't a real thing I can go tame right now.

That's amazing and definitely a huge improvement of the current sporebats imo!
Now if only they didn't have those... erm... disturbing looking tails.

Now THAT is what a Sporebat should have looked like!!! The current ones have their cuteness, but this really puts both the "spore" and "bat" together exceptionally well!
