RESCUE KITTY!

So while on patrol I found a little 2 week or less (her eyes were still shut as well as her ears) kitty under a car screaming. Now Sacramento is warmer then most but at 4am its about 50 degrees. Not to mention the sprinklers are now on and flowing water. So I find a discarded shoe box and after warming the kitten in the car(ever seen a guy warm a kitten like a hotdog in front of a heater?) I put it in the shoe box with my tactical gloves. I then placed the box on the passenger floor and stabilized it with my backpack, then turned the floor heater to low.
Well after riding the rest of the patrol route with me I take it home and call my mom to see if she knows a good rescue place. She does. One of her nurses runs a kitten rescue. She is now in good hands. So glad I came on the property when I did
