Is anyone participating? How far have you gotten? What are you writing about? How do you feel about it so far?

I'm participating, against any better judgment. I think I'm a little shy of 4k now, which isn't terrible, really. I'm ahead, but not by a lot. I'm writing some...man, I don't even know how to describe it. It reminds me vaguely of Tamora Pierce's Trickster series, which I suppose isn't a bad thing. Considering I've done bare minimum planning, I'm surprised how well I'm actually writing.

I'm chilling at 1715 right now, mostly because I haven't done any real writing yet today. What's your username? Also, Tamora Pierce is great! I can definitely feel my own writing taking on that sort of tone at the moment, haha.

My style has become sort of terrifying mash up of Tamora Pierce with streaks of Terry Pratchett. (Then again, my style has always stolen/drawn from Pratchett, Gaiman, or Douglass Adams??? That's what I get for reading witty sci-fi/fantasy authors.)

I'm doing in on Google Docs since I'll be writing on a billion different computers. at some point or another I'll throw up a link so people can see it in all its hideous WIP glory.

Sweet! I've got mine in word, but my uni friends and I are using dropbox to read each others (so we're bullied into updating properly, haha). I don't think I'll be putting mine online, though; I'm emailing it to a few select people for feedback, then doing heavy edits. After that, more feedback, more edits, and then a proper manuscript to be sent out!

Goodness, I am majorly behind. How is everyone else doing?
