Just so everyone is aware...

If there's a pet you wanted on the Isle of Dread, get it now.

Lord Lakmaeran, the ex raid 'boss' chimaera, is found here, as are several large brown/black & white/blue skins. None are unique but, if you're like me, having Lord Lakmaeran because of what he is (and was), or any other reason, be aware that Isle of Dread is likely going to be gone come Cata.

The maps I've seen show it simply erased, and when I had a look, it was just gone

This goes with what I had already heard, about removing the questgivers that are in the game JUST because of the Gates of Ahn'Quiraj questline. Sure, the quests are'nt doable anymore, but still...

Nooo must level alts faster >.>
tbh must install wow 1st then level

ive never liked the purple skin chim or any other for that matter but this one! i dont care if its not unqiue its my all time fave

(and yes i know there loads of other places to get this model)

Can't blame you for that, Kairii. We're all Petopians because we're all crazy enough to track down the RARE and HARD TO GET versions of common skins, just for the ability to say LOOK WHAT I GOT, HERE'S THE STORY.

I just hope once he's gone they aren't going to make mine's NPC ID something else after he's gone. It's, in my mind, his "identity."

As in, when he bug-loads, he still shows as a giant elite named Lord Lakmaeran. (I'm pretty sure this is a cache issue so it'll only do this to those who've seen him, but it's still HIM!)

This is down to my horror after my Garwal (Raznos <3) turned into a Winterskorn Worg NPC ID-wise.

My old buddy Moshasaur did that sometimes... Him being the second largest NPC in the game didn't really help much either...

i'm miffed about the isle of dread. when i saw that it was gone, i instantly knew one of my races for my fanfic/expansion was suddenly without their ideal starter zone. fricken annoying.

I wonder if they ditched it because 'oh well, there wasn't anything worthwhile there anyway', or because of some other reason. I'm betting more on the "meh, i'm lazy, lets just ditch it' route :\
