Thread title says it all!

I've loved wind serpents since the first day I played WoW in vanilla.
I'm surprised and incredibly disappointed that Blizz never made one as a mini-pet. It seems to me that it's such a "classic" creature that it would have been among the first to be made a battle-pet.

So are there any rumblings of an eventual wind serpent battle-pet?

Or have the devs ever given a reason why they haven't done it, or not been able to do it?

I want one too. I'll get out my Spirit of Competition or one of the cloud serpents, but it's not the same. They could make them wild pets in Dustwallow, or maybe have something other than Adders and Prairie Dogs in Southern Barrens Or maybe a drop from wind serpents in Sunken Temple or Wailing Caverns.

I'd like a chimaera mini-pet too!

I'm mildly obsessive-compulsive about my hunters and their pets.

I almost only tame/use attack pets that also have a matching battle-pet.

My favourite hunter has a forest strider, with the matching mini-pet AND the mount from DarkMoon Faire.

But I've looked for an opportunity to use a wind serpent for a long time, and it just bugs me that I can't get a matching mini-pet.

I hope so!

Given the next expansion, maybe the first we'll see is the Outland model?

Is there a more official avenue for this type of request, directly to Blizzard?

maybe if they got actual feature requests they might consider them?

If you use Twitter (which I do not), maybe you could suggest it directly to Cory Stockton.

Otherwise the official battle pets forum, I guess.

If Noah was around at the moment I could suggest directly to him, but I haven't heard from him in some time.

Here's some Blizzard pet people on Twitter: @CM_Crithto @mumper @TheCrafticus. (Mumper is Cory Stockton.) I do occasionally check on Liopleurodonic's and Quintessence's twitter feeds on their blogs, but I don't use Twitter either. Maybe you could ask either of them to pass on suggestions?
