Fun barbershop glitch - Panda tails

So, I was changing my panda's fur color, and undressed her once I had sat down in the barbershop seat (a girl needs her privacy, after all) so I could see all the markings on the fur, so I had the character window open while I looked at fur colors. And I noticed that, in the character window, there were long tails where there shouldn't be, and short tails where there there should be long ones. Also I ended up with red hair on fur colors that have black/brown hair and black hair on red fur colors XD So of course I took screen shots of each skin. I think this happened because I had a cloak on, but didn't have cloaks showing, so didn't remove it. The tails went back to normal on the character screen after I took the cloak off. I think it would be really fun if we had tail length and hair color (other than the streaks) options, especially after seeing this. Enjoy!

This is really cool. I wish I could get long tails or short tails or vice-versa depending on the skin color. Switching up the hair color options makes me happy too. I would so play the first or second top options if I could.

Oh man, I really love the skunk-like tails some of the grey fur colors have there! I know it makes no real sense but I'd totally take a skunk tail.

They were going to give Black and White Panda's long tails as well.. You are able to see it on a few pandas in the Armory.
Not sure why they didn't.. But I guess it was to cut down on the "YIFFYIFF FURRYPLZ" stuff. Though it's a sad day for us nonYIFFYIFF furries. :c

I'm preeeetty sure its because Giant Pandas don't have long tails but like all bears have little stubs while Red Pandas which aren't bears (but look pattern and face shape like pandas for many) have long bushy tails :P I don't think Blizz cares about furry hate considering the sheer amount of playable anthro animal characters

I really want a skunk race now though, I adore skunks, they are so precious! I knew one named Febreze and while he did try to break my finger once he was suuuper soft and it was soooooo adorable to feed him and let him romp around the rescue center (raised from baby in captivity so he was more pet than wild animal and also deskunked). A playable skunk race would totally make mah day >.> Fox people too. I lub foxes.

Yeah, but red pandas aren't even pandas, so we're kind of already stretching it. xD

In all seriousness though, I think it would have been nice to have the choice regardless. They're walking, talking panda people. They have dyed fur. They beat people up with their fists. Somehow I doubt a tail is really a big issue.

(speaking of tails, can worgens get one pleaaaaaaase?)

Hehe, yeah, red pandas are not even related to giant pandas. I think they have their unique biological family, actually. But I'd have to check.

But, we'll just say in WoW there is a type of sapient bear that resembles pandas and has a naturally occurring range of phenotypes that include reddish fur and longer tails to black fur and short tails. So, since they are the same species, the red and black can interbreed. Therefore, black panda with long tail, red panda with short tail. Perfectly logical.
