Legendary and Universal Pictures have announced the cast of the big screen adaptation of Warcraft. Find out the details after the jump.

Universal Pictures has revealed they have closed deals with Ben Foster, Travis Fimmel, Paula Patton, Toby Kebbell, and Rob Kazinsky and are in final stages of negotiation with Dominic Cooper to star in Warcraft, based on Blizzard Entertainment’s award-winning video game series.

Ben Foster’s credits include: The Messenger, 3:10 To Yuma, Lone Survivor, Kill Your Darlings, X-Men: The Last Stand and the television series Six Feet Under and Flash Forward.


Travis Fimmel’s stars in the television series Vikings.


Paula Patton has appeared in Baggage Claim, 2 Guns, Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol, Precious and Hitch.


Toby Kebbell’s credits include The Councilor, The East, Wrath of the Titans, War Horse, The Sorcerer’s Apprentice, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, RocknRolla and the upcoming Dawn of the Planet of the Apes.


Rob Kazinsky has appeared in HBO’s True Blood, EastEnders as well as the movies Pacific Rim and Red Tails.


Dominic Cooper’s credits include the Captain America movies, Dead Man Down, My Week with Marilyn, An Education and Mamma Mia!.

Looks very promising since there's people from Pacific Rim in there.

Ben Foster. My god my boyfriend will fanboy all over the place. I'm not even kidding.

I'm not familiar with any of the names and the only guy I recognize is the one from True Blood. He was Wornos, right?

Out of the total of the movies and shows listed in their credits, I think I've seen 5 of them but still only remember the guy from True Blood as being in them. The list is kind of underwhelming. That doesn't mean the movie won't be good though. I still have high hopes for it.

I don't really know who any of those people are...so it should make the movie more "realistic" for me as I wont be seeing those characters as other people ^^

I knew they where going with no "big name" actors and I'm glad they have done this. I've said it in the past and I still think it's a good idea. Big name actors = more of the budget going towards their ungodly large paychecks Small name actors = more money spent on the rest of the movie.

It worked for Pacific rim and I can work for WoW's too :3

I had every class at 80 and 85, currently have five 90's, main is a DK and has been since 3.1, one of the good ones though.

Haha I lol'd a little at his "EastEnders" credit It's like when Australian actors think "Neighbours" or "Home and Away" actually = experience acting.

5 90's is pretty impressive - atleast he knows his shit then.
