Well I made an account and its fun. You have to explore to find mates. You start off with a random lion you get.

Yeah, sadly. There are players who buy up cheap cubs, lionesses, etc. To kill so their King Lion is 'evil'.
They just added a similar option a few days ago, but it's taking them to a 'nature reserve' and is 'good' instead of killing them.
That being said I think it's really mean and rude to buy people's lions to kill. Some people offer up 'kill fodder' all the time. It's unnecessary to buy nice cubs or lioness from unknowing player just to kill.
Just my opinion.
You could try putting 'please don't buy to kill' in your trades but I don't know if that would stop them.

Dorcavia has become my main account, I initiallly made a different one but issues with my mail account blocking mails from Lioden caused me to make a new account with a "working" email. I cleared everything with the admins when they helped me recover the first one. my lion is Taris .. a handsome black male.
