No idea what the drop rate is yet. Did the daily seven times today without any luck.

Edit: was in my 14th Stolen Present

I managed to get one on the first day, so hopefully it's not too hard to get. I'm gonna keep trying, on about six toons a day, to see how many more I can get (if any!). At the end of the festival if anyone was horribly unlucky and missed out, maybe any of us who have spares can help them out

I did it on 7 toons yesterday and got a few "foot balls" but no pet yet! I also discovered you don't need to be 90 so I could potentially do it on 14 if I was totally insane...which i might be....

You don't have to be 90? Dang. I only bothered looking for the daily on my 90s.

Level requirement for the quest is 80.

Did it 6 times this morning, and only once did I have to wait for a fight to get the quest done. All the other times, the corpse was lying there, smelling of rotting mountain yeti and stale eggnog.

All I had to do was grab the stolen package and chat up the bemused reindeer.

And after doing it 8 times yesterday, and the 6 (so far) today, I have LOTS of crap in my bags, but no pets.

The bag drops two different pets, the aforementioned Rotten helper, and the little rock elemental lump of coal.

Lumpy!!! Totally didn't know that! (I got lumpy last yr)

Did it on all my 90-85's except my horde so 11 toons and all i got was gorillas and pie

Bah, guess I should start grinding for this. Even though I don't like the companion at all, my inner collector needs to have it regardless.

I've gotten 2 Lumpys so far this year and already had 3/3 in my pet journal thingie. I caged one and gave it to a member of my 10 man raid because his wife still hadn't gotten one. Other than those, it's just been stupid copper racers, gorillas and one minizep controller that my rogue already had. I hate RNG

I got the rotten helper on my 10th or 11th daily. I did the daily with several toons and tomorrow morning while expecting pastry and copper racers something blue showed up.
The pet itself is blue quality before you learn it. As combat pet it's "just" green. Not sure if I want to use a battlestone on it.

I got two Rotten helpers yesterday, nice, one for each of my battlenets.

However, the pet I REALLY want is Lumpy. I'm still waiting on that one.
I'm doing the Greench daily on around 18 toons per day.

I only have 2 toons over 80 so could only try the daily twice a day. I got the Rotten Helper in my 5th stolen present. I don't know if this has been said but if you mount up while you have the helper out, he mounts up too. On a tiny reindeer. It's hilarious.

Does anyone know what the drop rate is for the Lumpy pet?

OK!!! I got my Lumpy!!!!

BUT, I didn't get it by the orthodox method.

I have I think 5 Rotten helpers. I went to the AH and noticed someone was selling a Lumpy for 4000g, which I did not have on me.

I took one of my Rotten helpers, put it on the AH for 5000g, never expecting anyone to bite. And yes!! This morning, someone had bought my Rotten Helper, and the Lumpy for 4000g was still there... so I bought it AND have an extra 1000g left over!

Sadly I haven't been able to do more then one day of the dailies, between work, Christmas and now I am out of town for the next 5 days T.T I did get lumpy on the one day I was able to do dailies...but not sure if I will be able to get the rotten helper...when does the holiday end?

Last day of holiday is January 1st.
