I was bein' lazy, browsing these here forums, and something itched at the back of my head. "Log on," it seemed to say, "go check out that damn bear's spawn point." Heck, I didn't even know where he spawned! Had to look it up! Well, I landed at Amberpine and went and sat exactly on the B just like the wowhead map said to. Nothing. Just as my mind formulated the thought "Figures. You should come back later," he came into existence right below me. Oh my heart. I landed, switched pets (I had Arashi/Skoll with me, ain't droppin' that fella anytime soon!), panicked, dropped the right trap (I know, right?), panicked some more, opened my spell book, more panic, found the BM tab (no idea how), and finally pressed the damn button. Didn't tag him the whole time because well, I'm dense. And panicky. My hands were shaking and my heart was pounding. For some reason I was certain it was too perfect and that someone would swoop in and take him from me. But it was a perfect tame.

I named him Avalon. The moment I saw him up close, I knew that was the name for him.

GRATZ!!! it happens to anyone who looks for a rare and finally finds it, but I sadly got use to it

Hooray!!! He looks so nice by your side. He didn't quite suit my hunter, but I thought he looked lovely with you. :3 And Avalon is seriously an epic name for him, couldn't have picked a better one IMO.

Haha I know. All my pets are rares now. It's just different, you know, when the rare is super hyped up and sought after by half the hunter community... And I have epically bad luck with Loque, so I just figured...

I blame NPCscan the whole WHOMP BAM RED FLASHING LIGHTS is kinda scary, its enough to jilt anyones nerves lol.

What was my excuse when I found Loque? I didn't have NPC scan at the time, and i still went all stupid, lol.

I actually saw him before npcscan picked him up. I was just looking at the hillside and this yellow bar popped up, and then he faded into existence. It was pretty epic, if I do say so myself.
