Boy that sucks, seeing as you did the bulk of the work and didn't get rewarded for it.

I've added a few raids to my solo/2 man mount farm list this week and one of them is ICC. You can clear it as 10N and then switch it to 25H just for LK, to farm the mount.

The main roadblock with 2 manning is the val'kyrs, which kept picking me up and killing me. My partner in crime (this time as a Retadin) was able to solo it from there anyhow, but it just took a lot longer than we'd like. I have another strat for next week which hopefully will work, if not, I'll just do what dps I can and let the val'kyrs kill me. With your DK partner you should have a good shot at it as well, I would think.

Nope, my buddy and I do it on 10 normal, zone out, the RL switches it to 25HM and viola insta Invincible Reins boss.

What kind of gear levels are we talking about? A friend and I can easily duo 10man, but we never do LK cause we figure it'll be too rough and/or obnoxious to learn. (It'd be both of our hunters, I imagine, although perhaps I could gear up my pally...but I digress.)

Obviously it helps to be decently geared (I'm 564, my Retadin partner is maybe 550?), though it probably isn't *required* if you're good with with mechanics and the abilities of your toons. IMO 2 hunters would have a harder time than a lesser geared DK + lock for example, due to Infest and val'kyrs (the DK and lock could self heal to remove Infest, lock can portal out of val'kyr drop, both can brez). But it has been hunter soloed before so there's no reason a hunter duo can't do it.

For practice you might want to try it 10H once first just so you have a little more leeway in seeing the fight mechanics (like the shadow traps and sword phase), before moving to 25H.
