A cloak, shield, and 1h wep (pref sword) to match Battlegear of Wrath Warrior Tier 2 set.

This bigger the shield, the better. In fact, even if it doesn't match, find the biggest shield you possibly can.

I would suggest getting the addon mogit. It'll show you all the items you can still get in game.

But I believe there is a huge shield that drops off from Illidan with these big spikes on it really cool looking.

I think the shield you're thinking of (from Illidan) is the Bulwark of Azzinoth:

It doesn't look bad with the Battlegear of Wrath set. Here are some other possibilities:

The Bulwark is a favorite of mine, but note that some of these will look even bigger depending what race/sex you are. That Bulwark is awesomely huge on a male tauren, but not as impressive on a female blood elf. There may be others, but those are the bigger ones I can think of that kind of go with that set.

Yes, I'm familiar with mog it. I just wanted some outside opinions.
