I am running around the forest trying to find these tracks and always losing them I read the pages and seen the maps but still no luck times I did find them and follow a stupid snake attacked my pet and I had to bring him back to me so I lost it. Can someone please tell me the easiest way to find this guy and tame him?

I've tamed him on three hunters now, and the *easiest* (it was really boring, but hey, it was darn easy) way I ever had was to sit at one end of his patrol -- I chose 38,64 if you have a coordinate add on, or the side closest to the nectarbreeze orchard on his map if you do not have coords.
Sit there until you see the prints coming and then flare. The second he appears, tag with hunter's mark and hit tame. I had NO pet out, as where I was standing had nothing to aggro. You just... well, SIT there.
Warning; it is deathly boring, but it was easy, and I did it on a day when I was chatting in whispers with a good friend so sitting there was fine.
Hope this helps.

It also really helps for any of the tracking tames to turn your ground clutter as far down as possible, this helps make the tracks more noticable. Camping one end of the spawn point is usually good, although a bit boring. Having something playing in the background helps occupy time, as well as chatting with guild/friends.
But yes, flare out the beast when you see the tracks and get that hunters mark on there asap so that you can still see/keep taming it even after its stepped out of flares range.

Thank you for the replies I have my hunter sitting at the end of his path mentioned above every so often flaring for fun lol but now I know he will be mine. Just saw his tracks near me while I was in the area yet when I did flare he wasn't there guess I was too late...sigh

Is hunter's mark not working on him? I have seen him now twice and everytime I go to put it on it says invalid target and starting to annoy me.

It should work. Are you flaring him before you mark?

Maybe just try taming him while he's in the flare then, you don't *need* to mark him in order to tame, it's just a convenience.

You could also try to put an arcane shot on him which should also apply the hunter's mark. Good luck!
