Cooking shows! Delicious food, no surprises, friendly hosts. It's like stress relief that you can write down and copy later.

I usually like switching on PBS or channel 58 for all my cooking shows. My favorite is Julia and Americas Test Kitchen but I have never heard of that show.

I am a total sucker for the old Law & Order shows.. if an episode is playing as I'm channel surfing, I will sit and watch the whole thing regardless of how many times I've already seen it.

I'm the same way with Star Trek: The Next Generation.

Oh, and disaster movies... if 2012, or The Day After Tomorrow, or The Core or any of those not-that-great disaster movies is on TV, I WILL sit there, glued to the set, and watch the whole thing... or I might even pull down the big projection screen and watch the Bluray. (I often fast-forward to the exact same spot as where it was on TV, unless I happened to just miss a BIG explosion or some other big special effects shot)

Oh and cartoons, animations, and movies like Wreck It Ralph, The Croods, Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs (1 & 2), Frozen (but don't tell my boyfriend), HTTYD, anything Pixar ever did, all of Hayao Miyazaki's films, super hero cartoons, Looney Tunes (they never get boring) ........ Yes, it took almost 30 years but I have moved from the floor to my computer chair to watch my cartoons at and still in my PJs :headbang:

Lynn Crawford.

I could seriously NEVER get tired of watching her on TV. One day I hope to eventually meet her at a cooking convention, get a few recipe's from her, and an autograph. *_________*

Other things:
Animals (Foxes, cats, maned wolves, elk to list a few of my all time favorites)
Going to art galleries and ancient history or art museums
Chicken
Pork
Vanilla Coke
Stuffed Animals
Skyrim
Heroes 3 Complete
Pokemon (Typhlosion, Arcanine, Zangoose, Lucario, Zoroark, Ninetails to name a few of a large list of all time favorites lol)
Climbing trees
Swimming
Many many other things that would make this list go on even further lol

Such a good thread..

I'm also a sucker for old true story war films..like old battles vs impossible odds kinda things. Theres a heap of chinese ones but today i watched "55 days at peking" and it was rather epic. "Zulu" is another fav of mine. There's a heap of western's that are like that too. New style war films don't really do it for me...one hero type (usually american) saves the world, nup. But 200 guys with single shot guns in pit helmets and bright red jackets vs 4,000 warriors with no fear...yep sucker right here.

Almost Human! Supernatural! ...pretty much any show on TV with hot guys. That's all it takes  I never watched scary stuff before Supernatural, but to see Dean I'd watch half with my hands over my eyes at first. Now nothing scares me.
Also trading cards, any small scrap of ppr with art on it and I'm there.
FaberCastell pencils too! My fingers are such lead snobs.

1 basically anything supernatural, doctor who or Sherlock related or anything with a similar feel to it. >.<
2 Also villains and wayward heroes. I just find them to be so much more interesting to watch, read about and create. Their motives keep you guessing and you never know if they feel like showing wrath or mercy on any given day. I imagine they are fun characters to play too.
3 Really good anime. I'm usually not big on it but if something like Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood crosses my path I will be compelled to watch it. All of it.

4 Anything with dragons or aliens. shows, art, games or books. I will hoard the stuff. (greys excluded.)
Also.... gummy worms. And cheddar cheese baked potato chips >__________>

NCIS, NCIS LA, Castle are my favorite TV shows I watch every week with my husband.

And Germany's next Topmodel. So glad the new season started!

And don't tell anyone but I love girl tv shows like Heartland, Mc Leod's daughters and Gilmore Girls. I love watching them in English instead of German to improve my language.
