Well, uhm, not really, but:

Ner'zhul uses an evil force, the Terror of the Void. At the end of the zone, you fight Ner'zhul. He manages to turn a Naaru into "Dark Naaru" form. To purify the Naaru, Velen must sacrifice himself. He dies. This is a huge twist. Note that his death will be staged through a cinematic (end quest).
And all of this by the end of the 1st questing zone. Looks like they've outdone themselves with questing plot progression again... (/drolls remembering Jade Forest).
I can't wait to hear about the rest of the zones, especially Arakk - but that's just my personal love for the burdies.

I love storyline quests. <3 That's what makes questing fun to do. I try to do story quests at any given chance.

I guess they had to do something so we didn't have two... Dumbledores... running around. I was betting on some sort of fusion, but I suppose that would have made "Dumbledore" and his faction too powerful.

Oh, the joys of pacing issues.... And people try to tell me pacing isn't important, haha.

Anyhow, I hoped that anything happening to "Dumbledore" would trigger some kind of a battle-mode change in "Harry", the boy seriously needs a kick. But as we still have one left, nothing may be lost yet ;)

One had to die, or alternative Draenor would have exploded anyway from an overload of pure Velen-awesomeness.
