Do you guys know if you buy the regular one now, but then later decide to get the CE if you have to pay full price for the CE or the difference?

Hmmm I may have to save up for the CE edition this time. That is a sweet mount.

If you buy the regular and later decide to upgrade, you get a 'reduced price'. Ostensibly that's the difference, but they didn't say specifically.

I'm also not too much arsed about the price increase... One shot of $10 is nothing. Now, if their monthly sub went up like $5 I'd be pretty mad.

I'm so eager to get the goodies, but I know I'll want the physical CE, so I have to force myself to be patient until the actual release date!

Got my DD and boosted my undead Warlock from 56 to 90. You get all your account bound mounts including the ones from patches 5.1 through 5.4 and and the rep ones as well. You do not have any of the reps though and can't ride Cloud Serpents. You don't have rep with Wrathion either. You can not do any of the pre 90 quests which is disappointing but understandable. I didn't worry about his professions because he really doesn't have any, not even fishing.
You start with a set of 483 green gear and you're on the Timeless Isle with your hearth set to the faction shrine in the Vale.

I'm disappointed that the release date seems to be at least 6 months from now though. I'm thinking mid to late September now. That sucks.

Hmm? Are you saying all the non-level 90 quests are marked complete?

I think you can but a lot of them are 'gated'... I think you MUST complete the intro sequence to open up a lot of stuff farther on.

When I flew my shammy over Paw'don, an NPC wanted to gate me directly to the skybreaker in order to 'unlock' the town. I didn't, but I'm pretty sure I'll need to if I want to do any questing.

Edit: Now that I'm thinking about it, I was able to do the 'arcane oubliette' quest in Krasarang (I wanted the FP there.)

So yeah, I just think a lot of the quests are unavailable until you unlock certain points of the plot.

Upgraded my account last night with the CD edit now I only need to keep an eye out for the physical CE edit appearing in the shop (for mah collection )

Still doubting what I should upgrade to 90 >_> still have a stray ally warlock around lv 50 somewhere (at least I will have both garrisons then ;P)

started doing some pet battling again (must lv the hatch ling its to cute XD)

It's cute how the pet sends a love heart when you mount up to raven.

So yeah already got it the deluxe edition and 3 90's :p

I paid for my monk and warrior and used the free one for a moonkin, overall my fave char is the warrior so OP!

The price didnt really bother me because I've been playing 10 years to the year and I will continue to play as long as I enjoy and so I will pay for games I love

The amounts I spent on gw2, rift, tera and as of right now I don't play any of those games and so I had fun buying stuff I liked and than simply left it all for WoW so yeah I've spent much more in one week of rift or gw2 than I have on WoW buying expansions, mounts and pets.

And so $66 for an upgrade with fast flying cause I have like no gold was a really good deal for me and $10 extra for a mount and pet is meh cause I love mounts, but that doesn't mean ill go insane to get ones I like unless they cost money than I will buy them all!

Now what would be the major difference between the physical Collectors edition and the digital, in regards to goodies ?

For me, I am waiting for the physical Collector's Edition because of the art book. I don't know if the digital deluxe includes a PDF of it or something like, but regardless I prefer having the printed product that I can carry around and such. :'D

Eh I may just get the basic edition, then buy the armored Skyreaver mount since I am really not impressed with the crow mount

As far as I could tell you can not do the intro sequence. You seem to start out at the point you reach 90 with all the quests that come before that done. Hellscream's Fist is already present as a wreck. General Nazgrim is not in Orgrimmar to give the quest for the Horde opening and the zeppelin is not at the bay outside Orgrimmar. The only quests I found available were the rep dailies.

UPDATE
Okay, you can not do the intro quest line but if you fly near Thunder Hold which already is infested with Sha, you pick up the first quests after the intro line. The ones to kill sha and talk to the mayor of Honeydew Village. The first 7 quests are the ones you can't do.
