Hey guys I just wanted to make sure everyone knew about the hearthstone mount. It says in the patch notes for HS "It can be gained for your WoW account if you win 3 battles in play or arena mode." Unless they messed up in the notes it might be possible to get it now.

Could you explain what that involves for those of us who haven't played at all yet? For instance, I don't know what play or arena modes are. Is arena the pvp battles?

Ok so you have play mode which is just a pvp match against people of your skill level, you get to pick your deck and class.

In arena its a bit different and I havent played it yet but my super hearthstone pro friend told me you have to pick from a random selection of cards, hope this helped

Yup Ashdawn is right If you've never played Hearthstone and want to for the mount. You'd just have to go through the tutorial then you'd be able to do a play mode against another person. They consider playing against npcs more practice really. The arena is something you either have to pay for to enter or have enough points racked up to enter as it costs 150 of them. You'll get to pick from three random heroes and then have to select cards from random groups until you have 30. If you lose three fights your no longer allowed to play in that arena session and you get rewards based on how many matches against other arena players you were able to win. It shouldn't be too hard to win three games in play mode even just starting out.

Is it three games in any order. (ie lose, lose, win, win, lose win) or three in a row?

All you have to do is win 3 games in total, whatever order, so really you have infinite tries.

I haven't played much Hearthstone but I figure with everyone else jumping in and trying it most of us should be on the same level. Hopefully I can manage 3 wins, that mount looks really awesome.

Yeah it's just 3 wins in general. The mount kind of matches my priests transmog so I'm happy

Is it the blue on alliance/red on on horde characters?

It's all Blue sadly. My tauren and my ally all have the same one.

Eh, I've literally never done Hearthstone... Mostly due to it not interesting me.

BUT I guess I have an excuse now. XD

I really did assume that blue would be for ally and red for horde. Kind of disappointed.

Eh maybe but it's not a grey mount XD *shrug* I dunno but I have a feeling we wont ever get that red one. they should of gone with ally blue horde red.

If they where going to say it's from the same stone they should of at least made the stone the same colour

Super meh if the red one doesn't make it into the game. I was really looking forward to that for my warlock. But oh well, it's a lovely horse regardless!

Blue's my favorite color, so I am happy it made it into the game...though I had hoped it would be the Allie blue/horde red for some faction flavor...

Oh blah, I was hoping for red, too. Not that I can think of any reason I'd use any of them, as I'm not a huge fan of the skeleton they used- but still! Might have used it on my lock.
