Skyrim. Sneaking with a bow is great, but once you begin fighting, it's all melee, unless you are exceptionally great with it.

I'm going with Skyrim. I'm sure a pimped-out archer with tons of points can do some damage, but my pimped-out assassin can fell most enemies, including boss types, with a single backstab. The dagger bonus (or is it 1H bonus? I forget) plus other bonuses, and the Dark Brotherhood set, I think I get a x30 damage bonus to backstabs. I'd like to see a bow do that.

Mages might be able to wreak havoc from afar, but then they probably alert everyone around. I just sneaky-stab every foe, with no one the wiser.
