Riverbeast could be a crocolisk, but I hope not. it could be that hippo-type creature we saw concept art of during blizzcon.

Ooh, really curious to see the river beast's in game model. They look a lot like the seal/walrus things we have currently, but better able to walk around on land. (I still think it would be kind of cute to have tameable seals though who flop around behind you)

Going to wait and see before I get my hopes up. I want to see game art before anything else.

Riverbeast is the long-tailed hippo. I'm hoping that both Draenic Hippos and Pandarian beavers would be considered as 'Riverbeasts'.

Hook Wasp is the new mount.

The wasp kind of reminds me of a StarCraft zerg unit that more or less death grips a target with its tongue- now I really want to something like that in-game just because it would be hilarious xD

So I'm not the only one that thinks that? It really does look like a zerg

Slickrock saw the riverbeast at Bizzcon and said it looked a lot like the concept art.

The fact they added families for these makes me expect they are considering both as pets and that the hook wasps won't just be included in wasps.

I hope they have a better name then "RiverBeast" something more original sounding because that's kinda lazy What's next groundbeast and skybeast?

I actually like the name River Beast as it can be an umbrella term that would include currently untamable beasts. *cough*beavers*cough.

I want aquatic form to be able to be a sealion, and to be able to flop around on the ground.

I like that one of the Riverbeast's abilities is Mortal Wounds. Since hippos are the most deadly animals in Africa anyway.

As are beavers everywhere else.

Looks like the hippo's using the direhorn animations, seems like that'll be a suitable skeleton.

I really like the new Talbuks, Elekks, Boars, and Hippos but it looks like they still will be only mounts and not pets. Especially the first two.
