I don't know. I've always felt the choppers didn't belong in the game and it still somewhat annoys me to see them.

The current ones aren't my favorites... I much prefer normal mounts - drakes, sabers, other animals - to mechanical/engineered ones, but I don't see how they don't fit. Goblins and gnomes make bikes, helicopters, planes and so on. The choppers look like they could be made by them. But i don't really care either way lol.

Being a mount collector I'll vote and get whichever mount is made, naturally. But not nearly as excited for this as I am for some of the WoD mounts

It's bound to happen. Engineers make mechanical things, thus choppers and such.

I'll place my money on the Alliance winning. It's likely that people will just vote for whichever faction they main on, and Alliance has an advantage in that regard. Looking at the Census on WarcraftRealms, there are more Alliance characters at 90 than Horde, and the Alliance has higher daily and weekly activity than Horde.

I wish they had multiple designs for horde and multiple designs for alliance, and each faction got to vote on which they wanted. Sucks only one faction will be getting a mount unless I'm reading the post wrong lol.

Placing my bet on Horde winning because from what I've seen, more people who get really into the game's news/events/etc are Horde. But who knows!

Though I suspect a lot of people will vote Horde for the design, because it'll likely be "cooler". Or at least spikier and redder.

Seriously hoping they make the winning mount available to both factions, though- or else this little competition is going to spawn insane amounts of hate and vitrol. x.x Which is too bad, because it's such a neat idea! I'm excited to see the designs they come up with, I just... don't want to see all the hate that might come from it.

Also I want my horde characters to get the mount. But I also want my Alliance friends to get it. >.>

I love the Horde and would of course be excited to see a new chopper, but even I wouldn't want to see only one faction get a new mount, that's just sad for whoever doesn't win.

I like to concept of Ally Vs Horde regarding the build/concept, but the winning mount being the only one made is a bit sad. Maybe somthing like the winning team gets I create a "WOD Draenor" themed Bike that will then be added to the game? Or even even if it just swaps models between both designs like the current one does and the winner gets a different perk? Meh, maybe I'm over thinking it, I'm just stoked to have another bike mount regardless of design

There are more alliance players, but horde players seem to have a greater need for group identity.

Just reading the forum posts in the thread that Crithto created and it's already there. This is seriously messed up and people know about it. This contest isn't about which chopper looks better anymore, it's just a "Vote for your main faction!" one now. Cool idea, bad way to go about it.

Alliance chopper likes amaaaazing

I'm interested to see the final pieces, but I have a hard time watching the actual episodes. I'm just really not a fan of that "brand" of television drama, with the prolonged pauses and fake anticipation. I dunno, I can't sit through it because it makes me cringe.

Agreed. Get over the drama and just get on with things.

It's especially bad, because you know they could make a better show by showing us more of the design process.
