I wish I liked chibi more, since I'm an obsessive pet collector and it seems new pet art uses it extensively. But I just don't. Still, as Kayb says, it's kinda evil-cute

Ah ha! Good catch Vephriel on the Shrek ears... I couldn't figure out where I'd seen those before. It really is a freakish looking baby hippo but... gotta have it.

I have to agree with Wain. I'm not keen on most of the chibified pets. Some aren't so bad (personally I think the Zandalari baby raptors are very cute) but most of them end up looking like bug-eyed mutants, like the Imperial Moth *shudders*.

ohmygod I made eye contact and it sucked out my soul. that thing looks like a Diablo promotional pet- creepy!

That sure is a baby hippo thing. Eyup. Darn tootin!

I thought the same thing when I first stumbled upon that photo. It definitely DOES have Shrek ears!

I can't decide if he's cute or scary... o.O Probably both. He's going to look awesome sized as a battle pet.

There are actually five different colours of this baby riverbeast. They are pretty damned cute when they do the same special as the parent (the same one direhorns have) and they rear up on their chubby little legs.

I sent model shots off to WCP but I'll try to get some different ones up here after work tonight
