While they announced a Saberon 'cat-person' NPC race at Blizzcon, I honestly thought they'd given up on the idea as I hadn't heard anything since. But it does exist and it's quite nice:

I had seen a lot of old quilboars show up, so I'd hoped maybe they'd switched ideas and were going to develop a new, musclier, spikier and and angrier quilboar for Draenor. Honestly I think it would fit better, and I'm still hoping they'll make one. But the cat person does look pretty nice

Is it tamable?

Looks to use the male worgen base...it has a huge range of emotes...secret new neutral race? Hey I can dream!

while it is extremely awesome, it does also make me a little sad, only cause it kinda kills my own OC cat race ideas

Hay if horde want the cat man, they can have him. Ally calls dibs on Arakkoa I have been wishing to play one for years. I am somewhat surprised we are not getting any new races. of course we do have a lot to choose from as is, but bird and lizard people are at the top of my list.

I'm kind of surprised to see another cat race after they did Tol'vir. This guy is wayyyy buff- looks like an updated version of the rarely seen humanoid cat model from vanilla. (a zg boss had the model, as did a boss in kara. I think there was one more but I can't remember.) nice to see them making a comeback- and with lost of emotes from the worgen model no less! I do kind of hope they slim down the shoulders/arms just a bit though. I don't think Tauren aren't that thick.

The new models are well done and can't wait to see what faction they will be used for or if they'll just be another hostile mob. Also could this mean that Roar could get an update since there's a cougar skin available.

The blue-purple one is rather odd though. The rest all resemble real big cats, but that... I'm not sure where their inspiration comes from. It's kinda cool, just odd.

I guess its supposed to be a black panther. Black like a night skye Just like the non-striped "black" sabercats, eg. Dustfang.

This makes me really sad cause it means they'll probably never be a player race then...always wanted cat people (I love Charr in GW), as well as lizard people, like the naga...
