So I haven't really been playing WoW recently, (CoD stole me away) and it turns out that most of my very good WoW friends moved to another server for Progression's sake. I logged in today to see that it was almost all alts left, and that most of them hadn't been touched in a month or more.

Here's where I hit my problem, while I was saving my WoW major addiction period for when Cata Hits, I won't really want to play without a friendly group of people around me. I'm considering Transferring my characters, or at least Gim, but I have a few Dilemmas: Funds,
and Which server.

As it stands now, me being a Jobless teen, I'm kinda short (broke) on cash, and was wondering would the transfer be worth it, and if so, which character? Just Gim, or all three of my mainly played toons? And if the latter, where would I get $60?

And the other issue is, if I do end up transferring, to which server? The one with all my old friends, or Nessingwary, and race changing to a horde toon. But again, that is a rather large conflict for me b/c it consists of either finding what server my friends went to, or supplying funds for a race change too? And my poor Hunter Gimlion, I'll really miss being a Dwarf, and Alliance.
What do you guys suggest I do?

Well keep in mind if you come to Nesingwary we also have an Alli-side faction, <Ominous Latin Name>. It doesn't get as much love, but I know I'm on it with some degree of regularity since my hunter main happens to be an NE hunter.

You can also do a faction change if you want. Or, transfer one of your alts over with a lot of gold, and then just start leveling other chars from there. It's nice to have some fresh insight to the game as well.

Regardless of where you go, I'd only bother transferring one character over. One character with a decent base of gold is enough to get a number of other characters started on any realm, Nesingwary or otherwise. So if you're really strapped for cash IRL, I wouldn't do more than one...don't waste all your funds
