More to the point male troll tusks because females are tiny and thus was easier to do. See I'm trying to make something with a troll in it and his tusks are making drawing the dialog mouth shapes a giant pain in the booty hole. Because they tend to be very large and thus a pain to make the mouth shapes >.> It's hard to fool your eye into thinking something is talking if you can't clearly see their mouths moving! Because that's what animation is fooling your eyes >.<

Anyway simple question that places I look don't help at all >.> Are the tusks part of the upper or lower jaw? IE do they move when talking or do they don't. Top jaw = not moving, Bottom = moving.

You don't know how much this has ruined my day so far and it's only just lunch time

I like to look at lips for these kind of things, the male trolls which have so much more expression in their faces make it much easier. Male trolls have their upper lips pushed upwards by the tusks as well as have their cheeks bones more prominent, and when they speak, the tusks don't move up and down with the jaw. Orc's have their tusks on the bottom jaw which makes their lower lip jut out (if their tusks were like trolls, they would have the same appearance as the trolls do except the bottom lip is being pushed down where the tusks sit.) and the tusks move when they speak.
