Re-Vamped Ride

They do plan to revamp the ride again to make it resemble more the old ride. They actually removed Figment from the revamp at first but people got pissed so they put him back in.

Oh wow! Wasn't expecting that one! I have some pretty fond memories as a kid, going on that ride with my big brand new black panther plushie my dad bought for me. He really enjoyed that ride, too, so it's a pretty important one for me since he passed in 2005.

Nice to see little Figment getting some attention!

I remember Figment very, very well. My brother and I loved that ride, back when my Dad got invited to Disney World on the occasional press junket and we got to go with him. I also strongly remember the scent of rosewater from the queue and load area of the original ride. I really do hope they kinda "roll back" the current ride to more closely resemble the original. Because in the current version, Eric Idle does his very best, bless his heart, but the ride just doesn't - work.

(Although...just between you and me...I think if Dreamfinder comes back to the ride, they should make him the younger one from the color front cover of the comic books. Man, oh man... )

Yay I loved him when I was younger. I still have some little figures of him around somewhere.

His comic is pretty awesome! ^^
