Hey I have never understood why Blood elves are horde. Can anyone explain it to me?

http://www.wowwiki.com/Blood_elf - This should clear most of it up as it is their fully history. As such the blood elves are originally High Elves who wee corrupted with magic. While the two may look the same they are very different as can be seen by the horde and alliance quarters in Dalaran.

Basically, they got shafted by the Alliance in the last war and called 'traitors' for accepting help from the Naga when the Alliance wouldn't help them fight the Scourge. So they got bitter and joined the Horde when they needed help getting to Outland.

Though tbh, neither the Draenei or the Blood Elves have very strong reasons for being with either faction, really. But since Blizzard won't make a third faction, they have to go somewhere.

Not really lol I think they should have both been neutral and when you got out of their starter zone could have picked either side. If you went alli as a starter blood elf you became a high elf and vice versa. The draenei would stay draenei if they went alli or reverted to a rougher perhaps broken/eredarish form if they were horde. Thats how I think it shoulda happened because I like high elfs because of their pretty blues eyes

Draenei loathe orcs. Orcs almost wiped out their entire race.

lol @ Saturo - Was kidding though I dont think Eredar really cared lol - if Eredar joined the horde though..well..there wouldnt be a horde anymore I still want a high elf though

Actually..that exists :3 Its an Eredar but its a form of one Shes one of the Eredar twins in Sunwell - I LOVE female Eredar though.. They have fishnets..do want - http://static.mmo-champion.com/mmoc/ima ... rtwins.jpg - they sure know how to dress well

I'd call it dress cheap...

The female eredar are on Bloodmyst Isle too. There's a 2man quest where you get sent to kill a lot of elite elves, and then a female Draenei. Who turns into a giant eredar.

I just think I like the skulls and the fishnets

I think because horde needed a "pretty" race. :p

Im guessing thats why Ali now have Worgan? Now we have a beast race?

i think that has something to do with it horde are getting a small race so now both sides have an animal race and a small one etc

Alliance have three small races... (Yes, I count humans as a small race. Everything else, 'cept for gnomes and dwarves are taller)
