Ammo pouch, Librams, Totems, Idols, as well as other things we used to have would be used as cosmetics only items, which is fine by me! Sucks that it might only be in the next expansion but at least they are working on it!

It's a shame that it won't be yet, we were already half expecting them for MoP, but it's cool they're actively working on it
As a temp fix for quivers they could always make them into a cloak or shirt slot item for transmog purposes. You wouldn't be able to display the cloak at the same time but it'd be better than nothing
But it sounds like they're thinking much broader than that.

I used to like my quiver alot on my tauren. She had the one from the world dragon that went with Rok'delar. It would display over her cloak too
I really hope we see that again!!

I'm glad they are adding these as well, hope they don't take too long, I do love the idea of more customization. I hope that they add some kind of ingame wardrobe or somthing before they add these though, or make them a spell, or have their own tab.
I really mind, but I don't need more stuffs for my bags
Also I'm sure there will be some nice ones collectable in game, but as these will not be game "enhancing", we will probably see some rather shiny relics/items becoming the perfect addition to the $$ shop.... just saying. <.<

A) As they have said they would like to add it to WoD, but it's not a given ( /coffdancestudiocoff ) atm, so wow general is a pretty safe place. That way the thread won't be lost/locked once the WoD sub forum gets archived as well.

cosmetic only right? I wouldn't mind a neat little quiver on my back but for the love of god don't make me spend money on arrows and don't make me give up a bag slot again xD

Oh yeah, this is all about cosmetics.
Carrying like 20 stacks of ammo all seems like a distant nightmare now.

That's not the original post made by Blizzard, it's from MMOC and Boubouille didn't read it correctly. Here's the quote from Blizzard's blog page:
Before we show you the goods, keep in mind these are still way early in the design process, and getting them into the game will likely need to wait until after you’ve faced off against the Iron Horde.
Bolded the important part, which makes it looks like it won't happen in WoD, though there is still the possibility that they manage to do it earlier. But I honestly doubt that they would change our character panel mid expac to add the slot required to equip those cosmetic items. They already said they are already working on the next two expansions after WoD, so there's a better chance that they're saving the character panel modifications for what comes after WoD.

Yeah when I read "after you’ve faced off against the Iron Horde" I immediately thought he meant the expansion after WoD, but I guess it could also mean "later in the expansion after you've defeated the Iron Horde". I think we have to stop them fairly quickly.

Well if there ends up being a Relic slot of some sort for these new cosmetic visuals, another great potential option for hunters could be the choice to drag/drop a Melle weapon into it, simply for display purposes of course. It would be a great and easy way to let us show these off like we used to in the days of old?

yes yes all my yes!
I totally miss my stat sticks and collected so many staves and polearms over the years...it feels really sad they are just sitting in void storage now

I would *love* the option to drag-and-drop a melee weapon into a cosmetic slot, in lieu of a quiver (personally not a fan of quivers though I understand why other people would want them.)

Seems like a neat idea only one thing will make it or break it for me.
I hope you can also keep the lower lv versions showable even if your high level
Aka lv 100 hunter but having the lv 10 or lv 20 quiver instead of having it auto upgraded to the lv 100 glowing version.
Different transmogrify sets work better with the different accessories.
